Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I love working with kids, families, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new ways to thrive. I believe therapy can be a place where people feel understood, supported, and empowered—not because life suddenly becomes easy, but because they gain the tools and confidence to move through it differently.
I earned a dual Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis and am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington State.
My Background & Who I Work With
I began my career as a child therapist, and working with children and adolescents continues to be one of my greatest joys. I often support kids and teens as they work through anxiety and depression, learn skills to manage ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, and process traumatic or overwhelming experiences.
Over time, my practice has naturally expanded to include working with parents, young adults, and adults as well. Many of the concerns families face are deeply connected—when one person is struggling, it affects everyone. I enjoy helping individuals and families build stronger relationships, develop healthier patterns, and create more calm and connection at home.
No matter who I’m working with, my goal is always the same: to create a safe, supportive space where healing and growth feel possible.

My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, flexible, and meaningful. Every client is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to best meet each person’s unique needs, personality, and goals.
I am certified in Parent–Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I also offer EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Collaborative Problem Solving. I often integrate additional tools and approaches as well to keep sessions engaging, effective, and responsive—because therapy should never feel stagnant or disconnected from real life.
What You Can Expect
Whether you are seeking support for your child, navigating parenting challenges, or working through your own anxiety, stress, trauma, or life transitions, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen and understood.
My goal is to walk alongside you—whether as a parent, child, teen, or adult—as you build resilience, work through challenges, and create meaningful change. Together, we can explore what’s getting in the way, strengthen what’s already working, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and hopeful.
If you’re considering therapy, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for all clients, including individuals of all races, cultures, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures.
