Frequently asked questions
1. Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I am in-network with Aetna. For other plans, I am an out-of-network provider. Many clients receive reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits, and I can provide a superbill for submission. I also partner with Reimbursify to make the process easier.
2. How do I know if therapy is the right fit for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward—whether related to ADHD or parenting—it can be helpful to have support. We can start with a consultation to talk through what’s going on and see if working together feels like a good fit.
3. What is therapy like with you?
Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and focused on real-life application. We’ll work to understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and build strategies that feel manageable and sustainable—not just in session, but in your daily life.
4. Do you only work with ADHD?
I specialize in working with women navigating ADHD—especially those diagnosed later in life—and parents of children with ADHD. While ADHD is often central, we also address related concerns like anxiety, burnout, emotional regulation, and relationship stress.
5. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD as an adult—where do I even start?
This is a common experience. Many clients come in feeling both relieved and overwhelmed after a diagnosis. We begin by making sense of how ADHD shows up in your life, then build practical tools and strategies to help things feel more manageable and clear.

6. Can you help with parenting strategies for my child with ADHD?
Yes. I work closely with parents to reduce daily stress, improve communication, and develop strategies that support both your child’s needs and your family’s overall functioning. The goal is to create more consistency, connection, and confidence at home.
7. What makes your approach different?
My work is highly focused on ADHD and how it actually shows up in daily life. Many of my clients have tried strategies that “should” work but don’t quite stick.
I take a practical, individualized approach—helping you understand your patterns and build systems that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to how your brain works. The goal is not just insight, but meaningful change you can feel in your day-to-day life.
8. Do you offer quick fixes or long-term work?
Therapy isn’t about quick fixes, but it also shouldn’t feel endless or unclear. My approach is focused and goal-oriented—we work toward meaningful, practical changes from the beginning.
Some clients come in with specific challenges and see progress relatively quickly, while others choose to stay longer to deepen the work. We’ll regularly check in on your goals to make sure therapy continues to feel useful and aligned with what you need.
7. How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish helpful strategies. Over time, we can adjust frequency based on your needs and goals.
8. How do I get started?
You can reach out through my contact form to schedule a consultation. We’ll briefly discuss what’s bringing you in, answer any questions, and decide if working together feels like the right fit.
